Mo and I took a class on how to make Ethiopian Injera, the sourdough like bread/tortilla they make and use to eat their food on and with.  The teacher treated us to an Ethiopian dinner.

My birthday, celebrated a little early, but later in the evening after a long day at the hospital with Dad, who, thankfully was getting better.  Dinner was Chinese take out and the cake was from Costco!  All very delicious.

This nice man was giving customers samples of Runamok Syrup at Healthy Living while I was there shopping.  I told him my son worked for the company, and when he asked me who my son was, and I said "Scott Gilbert"  he practically bowled me over with his praises for him.   Made me proud to be his mom!

Saturday, February 4rth Ski and Brew

We skied with Carol Winn up to the cabin at Trapp Family Ski area, then down to their Pub and Brewery for beer and lunch.  It was a beautiful day for a ski and the snow conditions were perfect.

Sun and shadows.  Either way, I think we are in for six more weeks of winter.  It sure was winter in the mountains outside our front window this morning, and there were no signs of a groundhog.
