Scott took a kayak camping trip to Snake Den, near Split Rock.  He had a great campsite, beautiful day, and an exciting hike that included avoiding stepping on a rattlesnake.

Friday, August 4rth Farm Equipment Abandoned in the Field

I am beginning to understand all the abandoned farm equipment.  At one point, when all the haying equipment was giving out at the same time....Don walked away and instead went mountain biking with Larry for the weekend.

Thursday, Augut 3rd Suspended In Mid Air

This leaf was caught in a spider's web that was strung across the path to the tree house at The Birds of Vermont Museum  You couldn't see the  web, all you could see was a leaf, as if suspended in mid air.

They gave a great concert, outdoors, at Shelburne Museum.  It was Maurine's birthday gift to Don and she included me, Scott and Emily.

Monday July 24th A Rainy Day Drive to the Marshfield School of Weaving

Celia and Sarah Palmer came for a visit and we drove to the weaving school for Celia to visit since she is a weaver, and has been wanting to visit this world famous school. While we were there we met a student from the United Emerates, someone from India and a handful of other students from all over.
